 The
Apogee AE-2 has a split design with a mirror image on both sides. Each
side has an 8” woofer and a 1", side throw, spherical horn. Most people
have used this as an under balcony or vertically mounted speaker. At
the NuSkin convention we used this as a center fill speaker, at 10.5
inches in height, you are not blocking a lot of view. Now all of those
high rollers who wait in line for hours for front row seats, actually
hear something besides the monitor bleed and slap back from the rear
wall. We used a delay to sync up all of the speakers, the Apogee AE-2
speaker at 0 time, the main speakers at 10 feet, and the delay racks
at 89 feet. It sounded Heavenly!
