There is quite a bit packed into this affordable two-channel mixer. Each of the two XLR mic inputs offers mic powering for 12T or 48v phantom, a 10 and 20dB attenuation switch, and a low cut filter switchable between 100 and 140Hz. There is a very smooth internal limiter that can be activated as well. Each channel is also capable of being panned hard left or right for splitting tracks on your recording medium of choice. The X2 even has a slate mic and a tone generator. The outputs are 3-pin XLR and are mic/line switchable. Powering comes from 6 AA-cell alkaline batteries or from an external 9-12 volt source. The X2 sounds great and is very quiet (EIN- 129dB).
